Sheena is a highly skilled remedial & buccal therapist with a background in athletics and a passion for physical wellness. Her journey began as a junior track and field athlete, where she competed at an international level. Sheena gained further recognition as a competitor on three seasons of Ninja Warrior, where her strength, agility, and perseverance were put to the ultimate test.Specialising in a tailored combination of deep tissue remedial massage and stretch therapy, Sheena’s treatments are customised to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her expertise also includes Buccal facial therapy, an advanced technique that targets the muscles inside the mouth, as well as the outer face.
With a holistic approach and a deep understanding of both athletic and therapeutic needs, Sheena is dedicated to helping clients restore balance and feel their best.

Pirrenee (Founder of Steinert Athletica) has an elite and extensive background in Track & Field. For a decade she lived and breathed her sport as a full time athlete, representing Australia on a number of occasions including the 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2009 World Championships.Throughout her years of competition and training she treated fellow athletes and clients from her clinic.
Since retiring from professional sport, Pirrenee has continued with a healthy and active lifestyle, and maintains a strict regimen of weight training, Cross Fit, running, and yoga.
Pirrenee specialises in and provides a tailored combination of deep tissue remedial massage, stretch therapy & dry-needling.
As a former elite athlete, Pirrenee has a deep understanding of the needs of her clients and how to best approach each of their unique requirements.

Craig is an experienced Remedial Therapist currently furthering his studies in Myotherapy.He combines his knowledge of Remedial Massage and Myotherapy to provide effective, results-driven treatments tailored to each client's individual needs. Using a quick initial assessment to identify the underlying causes of pain, tension, or fatigue, Craig's treatments are primarily Remedial Massage-based, with additional modalities including dry needling, cupping, stretching techniques, and Myotherapy corrective exercise.
Craig is also passionate about educating his clients — helping them understand the reasons behind their pain and dysfunctional movement patterns, and what they can do to achieve long-term improvements. The positive feedback from his clients reflects his commitment to delivering lasting results.
Myotherapy represents the highest level of education in the Remedial Massage Therapy industry. Building on the foundation of Remedial Massage, it focuses on restoring movement, addressing muscular imbalances, and identifying the root causes of pain and dysfunction through functional movement assessment and corrective exercise prescription. This approach goes beyond symptom relief, helping clients rebuild, restore, and maintain their physical wellbeing long-term.

Karyn is an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist with a passion for myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Her background spans physiotherapy, osteopathy, and chiropractic settings, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how massage therapy integrates with broader care.Karyn is dedicated to helping clients achieve lasting results — working collaboratively with you to restore and maintain pain-free movement. She offers remedial massage, deep tissue therapy, and myofascial cupping.

Bridget joined Steinert Athletica with experience built on treating athletes at the highest level. She began her career with the Richmond Football Club, working closely with AFL players and collaborating closely with doctors and physiotherapists to keep the team performing on game day.Since then, Bridget has worked across clinics in Melbourne and Wollongong, treating clients of all ages and backgrounds — from young children to elderly patients — including extensive experience supporting people through pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation for hip, knee, shoulder, and spinal procedures. She's also a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor and SMA Level 2 Sports Trainer, and is experienced with dry needling.
Whether she's working with elite athletes or everyday clients recovering from injury or surgery, Bridget brings a thoughtful, individualised approach to every treatment plan.

Our Clinic Director, Derek grew up in the western US where he spent his free time road cycling at a competitive level, snowboarding, and rock climbing. Since living in Australia, his time outside of work is usually spent in the gym and at the beach.
Derek brings deep experience in business strategy, growth, client experience, recruitment, performance marketing, and data.He understands firsthand the needs of physically active people, and works hard to ensure that our clinic provides an elite experience for our clients.
